Kinga Uggla

Nursery Teaching Partner and EAL Teacher

Originally from Poland, I completed my Master’s degree at the University of Physical Education in Warsaw. I have participated in numerous webinars and training courses for teachers focused on teaching early literacy, phonics, and mathematics. I obtained a TEFL certification – Teaching English as a Foreign Language – in 2018 at the TEFL Worldwide Prague Language Centre.

This year, I have successfully completed my studies in International and Comparative Education with the University of Derby. I have also graduated from the British Council with a certificate in teaching English in Early Childhood. This course focused on identifying ways to support and challenge children in learning English.

Personally and professionally, I strongly believe in constant learning and growth throughout life. I began my educational journey in 2013 as a Year 1 Teaching Partner and an EAL teacher at the American School of Warsaw. Recently, I created and taught the English Language Curriculum for an International Summer Programme in Switzerland.

Currently, I am very happy to be part of the Park Lane community as a Nursery Teaching Partner at the Sibeliova site. In addition to this, I will be teaching and supporting EAL children in the Early Years and Primary. I am looking forward to these new challenges and responsibilities.

My hobbies and interests include travelling, spending time outdoors hiking or doing yoga, reading books and poetry. I like learning about new cultures and traditions.

I have always enjoyed working with children and seeing them grow and change every day. I am excited to help them with their development and learning.
