Our pupils represented the school superbly at the Allegro Music Competition, making it a truly successful and memorable experience. The venues were inspiring and provided a beautiful setting that elevated every performance.

Competitions can be daunting. You never quite know what to expect-who you’ll be performing alongside, what their strengths might be, or how your own performance will be judged. The judging process itself can feel unpredictable, adding another layer of uncertainty. Stepping onto the stage despite all of this takes real courage, and our pupils rose to the challenge with confidence and determination.

In the singing category, we were incredibly proud of Nika B., who delivered a confident and expressive performance. Her voice was clear, mature, and beautifully controlled, and she performed with great poise. Nika was awarded second place, a fantastic and well-deserved achievement.

In the instrumental category, we are immensely proud of Antonín S., Gabriel de G., and Anna P.. Antonín opened the category with an energetic performance, bringing elements of rock and jazz that added excitement and variety to the programme. Gabriel followed with a strong Spanish piece, complemented by a deeply expressive waltz. Performing last, Anna faced the added pressure of closing the category and did so with flair and confidence, delivering two polished performances. The results reflected the high standard: Gabriel placed third and Anna placed second. Across the category, the level of finesse and musicality was extremely impressive.
