3rd week in September 13 Park Lane pupils proudly took part in the Aquathlon event for the very first time — and what a success it was! Our athletes showed fantastic spirit and achieved some excellent results, including two 4th places and two 5th places.

There was also one rather unusual moment: Peter, who began the run in first place after being the fastest swimmer in his category, faced an unexpected setback when he was stung on the leg by a wasp just a few metres into the race. Despite the pain, he showed great determination and still managed to finish 4th — a brilliant effort!

A huge well done to all of our pupils who took part. Not only did they improve their fitness, but they also made new friends and earned the very first points of the year for the overall competition.

The next swim-and-run competition will take place in three weeks at Radlická Pool, and we can’t wait to see what our team achieves next!
