Teacher of Czech as an Additional Language

In 2012 I decided to teach languages and it has proven to be one of my best decisions so far. After finishing a Master’s degree in Czech Language and Literature at the University of Ostrava and completing a teaching qualification at the Palacky University in Olomouc, I moved to the UK. I worked as a teacher at various language institutes and schools in London including SSEES at UCL and the Czech School without Borders.

In 2016, together with some colleagues, I founded Czech Language Club, a language school where I led a team of teachers, created bespoke teaching plans and taught both adults and children.

After 7 years in London, I moved to Prague and joined Park Lane. Originally from Moravia, I very much enjoy living in this beautiful city.

I have a lifelong passion for languages and literature and I am very excited about working in an International school where all languages and cultures meet. Working as a Czech teacher gives me an opportunity to introduce our students to the Czech language and help them to explore our culture. I love to see when students enjoy learning Czech and use their knowledge in everyday life.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my little son, reading, going for long walks and travelling.
