Peter Whitehouse

Exams Office, Deputy Leader for Learning Support, Health and Safety Officer

I was born and raised in the English countryside near Oxford, and completed my degree in Business Economics at the University of Portsmouth in 2002. After working in banking and finance for several years I was taken by the urge to travel and spent a year exploring South-East Asia and South America.
Upon returning to the UK I spent several years working in London and then decided it was time to undertake a new challenge in living abroad. I completed a TEFL qualification and then spent five years in Taiwan where I was teaching the English language to Taiwanese children and adult students.
I greatly enjoyed my teaching experience in Taiwan so now, living in Prague, I intend to complete my iPGCE qualification which will enable me to become a fully-fledged maths teacher.
I have a great passion for exploring new countries and places. Also, I enjoy hiking, running, badminton and many other outdoor activities.
