On Wednesday, October 1st, Year 8 English students visited the historic medieval town of Kutná Hora. A highlight of the trip was the guided tour of the silver mines, where students ventured deep underground into the narrow, winding tunnels. The eerie, gothic atmosphere made a lasting impression: walls shaped like melting candle wax, tight passageways that seemed to close in, and ghostly echoes that recalled the miners who once worked there.
