Year 10 students have shown exceptional dedication and collaboration this term in the creation and management of their very own Mixed Touch Rugby League. From league design to inclusive participation, their ability to build a supportive and enriching sporting community has been nothing short of inspiring. Across the board, students have engaged deeply with active inquiry cycles, using critical thinking and creative problem-solving to drive their league forward.
Every league role—from Sports Administration, Umpiring Association, Team Brand Managers, and Sports Media, to the League Integrity & Inclusion Division and Team Performance Managers—has contributed to a diverse and high-quality portfolio of work. Their collective effort reflects a rich understanding of the holistic teamwork required to launch and sustain community sport. Student agency has truly been a sight to behold.
