Originally from Swansea in Wales, I completed 3 years at Swansea Metropolitan University in Primary Education during which I specialized in Foundation Phase and Science.
Once I graduated, I spent 5 and a half years teaching in both London and Swansea across the Primary years and also leading the Foundation Phase and ICT. I thoroughly enjoyed developing my skills to support all children on their learning journeys during this early stage of my career.
After 3 and a half years at home I wanted to challenge myself to take on new experiences and opportunities so I moved to Sydney Australia to be nearer to family, but while I was there, I missed having my own class so moved to Abu Dhabi in the UAE where I taught for 5 years across Primary. During my time there I had the opportunities to lead Science and be part of the Assessment and EAL COPs for the Primary schools.
I am really excited to join the Park Lane family and support your children on their learning journeys! I strive to always create a positive and encouraging classroom environment that allows children to feel comfortable trying new things and not be afraid of making mistakes and learning from these experiences!
In my spare time I love to travel and discover new places! I also enjoy reading and socializing with friends and listening to live music. I am really looking forward to exploring Prague and the surrounding countries during my spare time!
