I studied at the Palacky University in Olomouc and graduated with a Master’s Degree in History and English Philology. Having the opportunity to complete an internship at the Czech School Without Borders in London made me realize that teaching in a bilingual environment is close to my heart and I would like to continue in this direction.
In the last four years, I worked as a teacher of Czech, History and Creative Writing at the Czech School Without Borders, London. While working for the school, I joined a program to create learning materials for bilingual children. I created a set of worksheets focused on Czech history for several grades. I was also teaching one to one Czech classes for the Czech Language Club and to private students. Teaching Czech and working with children is very inspirational and I love helping them discover their own strengths and talents.
I am a passionate traveller and I love reading, gardening and various do-it-yourself home projects. I also enjoy learning French and improving my language skills with my in-laws in France.
