The Primary School Council at Park Lane continues to play an important role in helping pupils share ideas and improve school life. Class representatives meet regularly to discuss topics that matter to their classmates and work together to make positive changes within the Primary campus community.
During recent meetings, pupils had thoughtful discussions about reducing waste in the kitchen, suggesting ways to improve the lunch menus, and sharing ideas for new additions to the playground. One of the most popular recent improvements has been the new table tennis table, which has quickly become a favourite activity among pupils during break times.
Through the School Council, children develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills while learning the importance of responsibility and collaboration. Their enthusiasm, creativity and commitment continue to make a positive difference across the Primary School.
