We welcomed a very special visitor to the Learning Centre! Sundae, the comfort dog and her owner, Christine Eischen. Sundae was adopted from an animal shelter in Chicago and received level one of Comfort Dog training before moving to Prague. She continued with her therapy dog training here and worked at an international school, lifting anxiety and giving comfort during stressful exam times.  Having a comfort dog next to students can create a secure, calm environment and boost morale.

Quotes from our year 8 students about Sundae: “She will bring anyone happiness as long as she gets petted” and “she is better than an ice cream sundae because she brought warmth into Park Lane today”.

We are hoping to welcome Sundae back again soon.
