We are delighted to invite you to the seventh edition of the Park Lane Student Film Festival. This year’s theme is Freedom and Independence, and we will be showcasing films from Park Lane students as well as those from participants from other Prague-based schools and schools in Germany, Spain, Poland, and Romania (31 in total).

For the first time, the festival will take place at Kino 64 U Hradeb, a charming and historic cinema in the heart of Malá Strana. We are especially honoured to welcome Filip Malásek, the nominee of the Český lev Award for Best Editing for the film Vlny (The Waves), as our Guest of Honour at the event.

Guests will have the unique opportunity to take part in an organised tour of the venue, which is currently undergoing restoration to its original architectural form, or see an exhibition of visual art by Park Lane students.

The Grand Prize is a 4-week summer workshop at the Prague Film School, courtesy of the Prague Film School.

As a guest, you’ll also be invited to vote for the Audience Award, helping to spotlight a film that resonates with viewers.
