Our Year 8 students were delighted to welcome a guest speaker, Humberto Angulo from InBáze, a Czech NGO that supports migrants. Our guest, originally from Mexico, led a fascinating discussion on how different cultures can merge to create something better than the original parts. Using examples of food and music, they showed how “cultural fusion” brings new value and potential to a society. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to discuss diversity, empathy, and the benefits of an international community.
