A group of students from the University of Virginia, spent the first 14 days of January 2025 in Prague studying Czech and Central European history, arts, architecture, and culture. As part of their busy programme in Prague and beyond, they also visited Park Lane for specific sessions on the Czech language, communist Czechoslovakia, and contemporary Czech Republic.
Last but not least, they met with our IB students for discussions about studies and life in the USA, as well as informal conversations about various interesting topics. The afternoon with our students turned out to be a successful encounter, and perhaps new connections have been created!
