As we do each year, our English Department encouraged students to take part in the annual COBIS Poetry Competition. This international contest gives students the opportunity to submit original poetry based on a specific theme, with selected entries advancing to the global stage!
All students in Years 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 took part, alongside voluntary contributions from Key Stage 4 and 5 students.
This year’s theme was ‘If Walls Could Speak’. We received a wonderful selection of entries exploring diverse historical, cultural, and personal perspectives.
After much consideration, we are proud to announce our school nominees:
-
🏆 Luisa P. (Key Stage 3)
-
🏆 Isabel V. (Key Stage 4)
Congratulations to Luisa and Isabel, and well done to all students who participated and shared their creative writing!
