THE INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS INSPECTORATE

Following a successful application for IB Diploma Programme authorisation, Park Lane International School officially became an IB World School from 1st February 2018 and its first cohort of IB Diploma Programme students will commence their studies in September. As an accredited member of COBIS, Park Lane underwent its latest BSO (British Schools Overseas) inspection in March 2018, achieving full compliance with the new BSO inspection framework. Park Lane International School is recognised by the UK Department for Education and has been allocated a unique reference number on the national school reference system, Edubase providing official recognition. The number is 137803-6010. To be recognised by the Department for Education, a British school overseas must have an inspection report which shows that their performance against all the standards is at least satisfactory. This reflects the standards required for continuing registration as a school in England. Our school has been awarded an ‘excellent‘ rating in all areas of teaching and learning, leadership and management, pupils’ welfare and health and safety.
