Teaching and working with teenagers is my passion!
I was born to a Greek father and a German mother and lived in Nigeria till the age of 19. After completing my Abitur at the German School, I moved to the UK where I did my BA, PGCE and MA. After university I relocated to Jordan with my husband where I spent 27 years. During that time, I worked at A-level, IB and AP schools where I taught IGCSE English, AS level English Literature, MYP German, IB A1 and A2 German, and was very involved with the extracurricular and volunteering initiatives at the various schools.
Fifteen years ago, I also took on the role of University and Careers Advising. This quickly developed into my primary role. I have supported students embark on their educational journeys – from Australia passing through Hong Kong and South Korea, across Europe and all the way to Canada and the USA. University advising gives me the opportunity to meet with young minds and support them as they explore all options available to them regarding opportunities and career goals, something I deeply cherish.
I look forward to applying my cumulative experience in education and career advising in supporting the students and parents of Park Lane.
