Originally from The Netherlands, I’ve always been curious about exploring new cultures and ways of seeing the world. After studying Movement Science in Amsterdam, I decided to take my love for education abroad, starting with four years of teaching PE in China. Immersing myself in a completely different culture transformed how I approach teaching and showed me just how powerful a warm, supportive environment can be. From there, I moved to Prague, spending the last six years teaching in an international setting, guiding all kinds of learners, and continuing to grow as an educator.
Throughout my ten years in education, my main focus has always been building a positive, welcoming space where every student feels confident, valued, and genuinely excited to get involved. For me, nothing beats watching students step up as independent thinkers and find that real spark for learning every day.
Joining the Park Lane community is an exciting new step, and I’m looking forward to bringing my international experience to the team, continuing to learn, and inspiring my students to reach their full potential.
