Czech Teaching Partner

As a Czech person who studied English at school and then lived abroad, I understand both the enjoyment and challenge of learning a language and the opportunities it brings. I worked in international branding and marketing in the UK for 13 years before returning to my hometown of Prague. After having children of my own who are bilingual themselves, I decided to start an English-language programme at a Czech nursery school. This set me on a pathway to becoming a qualified teaching assistant and joining Park Lane International school.

Looking back, I can see the connection between my early life experiences and my new career as a teacher. I originally studied at the Prague Graphic School and now really enjoy the creative process of making interesting lesson resources and activities. I worked as a school ski instructor for many years and later helped young people complete their silver and
gold Duke of Edinburgh expeditions at a UK secondary school.

I love spending time outdoors. Running, cycling, skiing and mountaineering have always been a big part of my life. These days, adventures look a little different with a young family but I treasure seeing some of my passions now becoming theirs.
