Prague has become my second home after teaching and living in the UK for 19 years. So far, I have worked as a supply teacher, class teacher, Maths Co-ordinator, Year Group Leader and Assistant Head Teacher and I have had a great opportunity to work with children across KS3, KS2, KS1, EYFS and Nursery. Shortly, I have worked with children and pupils, ranging from ages 3 to 15.
Teaching and learning is a two-way process and I enjoy being part of it. There is always something new to explore, to wonder about or to be surprised about and to learn as a teacher. Learning is a journey – sometimes not a straightforward one, sometimes a very steep one and with different obstacles – and I like being a guide during this travelling, knowing that children are fantastic teachers.
If I am not in school in my classroom, you might find me walking in the countryside, dancing, travelling (on a bike, motorbike, by train or a car) gardening, reading a good book or completing puzzles and embroidery patterns.
