On Friday 2nd May 2025, 42 of our talented students took on the Junior Maths Challenge—and their results were nothing short of spectacular.

Out of all participants, an incredible 40 students earned a medal, a truly remarkable achievement that showcases the strength of mathematical thinking across our school.

A special congratulations goes to Tomáš S. (Year 7), who achieved the highest score in the entire school, and to Samuel P., who led the way in Year 8 with the top result in his year group.

What makes this success even more impressive is how our students performed on a global scale. Only 8% of participants worldwide typically earn a Gold medal—but at Park Lane, 24% of our Year 7 and 8 students did just that. That’s three times the international average!

We are incredibly proud of all our students who participated. Their enthusiasm, perseverance, and problem-solving skills continue to inspire us.

Well done to every one of you—you’ve done yourselves and your school proud!
