As part of our ongoing studies on Charles IV, we took full advantage of our school’s remarkable location and stepped beyond the classroom walls last Monday. CAL students enjoyed a brisk walk through the heart of Prague to the iconic Charles Bridge, where history quite literally came to life.

On the bridge, students explored its striking Gothic architecture and observed the statues. They were tasked with identifying key features, counting statues, estimating the bridge’s width and length, and discussing the significance of the surrounding area – linking history, art, and mathematics in a hands-on, immersive experience.
