This week, Year 9 students presented the regions of the Czech Republic. Each student prepared a presentation of a chosen region and then, as a group, discussed interesting facts from each part of our country. This was followed by local food tasting. We could choose between Pardubický perník  (gingerbread), Znojemské okurky (pickled cucumbers), South Bohemian butter, homemade vošouchy (potato pancakes) from the Pilsen region, and of course, Olomoucké tvarůžky (aged cottage cheese) and other delicacies.
