What a great Badminton afternoon!

And what a special tournament where the children were running the whole event themselves. Our Y6 boys and girls took part in a Badminton tournament organized by the Riverside International school last Thursday. All 20 students from three different schools got a piece of paper and a pen and had to find an opponent, get to know each other, find the empty court and play a game. They could not play a player twice and ran the scoring themselves.

After the official tournament the children enjoyed some double games and learned the difference between single and double. Everybody had fun and found some new friends. And in the end Park Lane took first place! I was very proud of all of our children not just for excellent skills but also for great sportsmanship and independence. Our students represented Park Lane extremely well.
