We are excited to announce that after almost a year of building, reconstructing and refurbishing the new IB site is ready to welcome the Park Lane Diploma students from September 2022.
The Úvoz site located in an attractive and beautiful location near the Prague Castle represents a new extension to the Park Lane growing community of students and teachers and enables the IB Diploma Programme to be accomodated in a modern educational environment.
The indoor space is quite unique and has been adjusted precisely to the Park Lane students’ and staff needs. 18 new classrooms include 4 new science labs or a performing arts studio, students will be able to make a great use of a library situated on two interconnected floors with an adjacent study room or a school club with terrace, café, incl. sound system for workshops, assemblies and performances. There is a space for teachers to work in the staffroom and offices for the management of the school.
The school garden attached to the building is being redesigned in collaboration with our students and will serve the whole PL community as an outdoor learning space or a place to relax.
The new site is ready for the school year of 2022/23 to begin. We are looking forward to welcoming our students, the existing and new members of teaching and administrative staff and we are all positive that this new site and student’s achievements will build further on our previous successes at IB Diploma Programme!
