Library on wheels

Park Lane Library On Wheels is a project to further enhance our Distance Learning Programme and reduce screen time. The benefits of reading are numerous: Reading is the foundation for future learning and influences children’s vocabulary, fantasy and language development.

Parents (and older students themselves) fill out a simple online registration form where they choose which book they want, and the date and time for delivery

Based on our pupils’ requests, a school bus transformed into a mobile library drives to our students‘ home address with a wide selection of fiction and nonfiction books for our children to choose from. Our primary and secondary school librarians carefully choose a range of popular books to stock the Library On Wheels.

The service is extremely popular and used by children across all our campuses and age groups.
