Remember our Park Lane Mile Race in the autumn term? Our primary pupils who enjoy running participated in a similar cross-country race in Divoká Šárka. They compared their performance with other pupils from Prague 6 and 17. The race was challenging, especially considering the fast pace. Everyone ran 500 metres, except for Tonda from Year 5, who completed a 1 kilometre trail and achieved our best result – 4th place!
The course included both downhill and uphill sections, requiring our runners to give their all. Everyone pushed through to the finish line, fuelled by the support of their friends and some sweets from Ms. Martina.
Well done to all for completing this tough race!
