On the last day of the second term, our students were really busy in the Assembly Hall. KS3 students presented the results of the work they have been creating using AI over the last month. As part of this project, students have been learning what AI is, how to work with it properly, how to come up with the right prompt etc. Pictured are Y9 CAL students creating their companies’ logos. There was also a quiz: visitors to the exhibition had to guess which prompt belonged to which logo!

Y9 students were introduced to some amazing Czech heroes and heroines. They tried out the role of a journalist asking questions of a famous person and then modelled this interview with AI as a representative of that famous person. In Czech History students attempted to capture the style of Božena Němcová with the help of AI as part of the Czech National Revival topic. They also role-played as supporters and opponents of this movement.

Y8 students worked on a geolocation game, creating questions and puzzles from the knowledge they had gained from studying Jan Hus and his work. In Czech History they created and edited presentations on the same topic (Jan Hus and the Hussite movement) with the help of AI. Moreover, they answered an AI-generated quiz on the same topic, as other KS3 Czech History classes.

Y7 students worked on Prague legends and placed them on a map of Prague, using images generated by AI that fit the descriptions of the legends. In Czech History students created portraits of Greek gods with the help of AI, including their typical attributes. These images were also used as part of the revision process using the gallery walk method during the next lesson.
