Next Friday, our KS5 students at Úvoz will meet Marcela Černochová, program coordinator at Arnika, a nonprofit organization. She will share a presentation about the importance of development and humanitarian aid abroad. She will also talk about Arnika’s help and the situation in Ukraine).

Marcela began her career as a director of an organization devoted to wildlife conservation – the Czech Otter Foundation, where she worked for almost ten years. In the years 2012 – 2013, she participated in a one-year humanitarian mission to Haiti with Caritas Czech Republic. She served as the Managing Director of the British Chamber of Commerce from 2013-2021.
From June 2021, Marcela has been Programme Coordinator at Arnika (a Czech non-profit organization that has been uniting people striving for a better environment since 2001). Marcela has also been very active in projects in Ukraine.
