In the first term of this school year, Park Lane children have been exploring, investigating many ideas within the science curriculum.Year 3 had a fantastic time exploring the properties of magnets and also using force meters to measure friction of different surfaces.
We always seek a balance between theory and practical science so that children develop critical skills such as predicting, planning and conducting fair tests, and analysing results to form conclusions.
As teachers, we love to see the joy of children discovering something new and making connections with their growing understanding of the world around them.
