In an effort to empower our young students with essential life skills, Year 7 recently participated in a basic First Aid course. The course aimed to equip them with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in minor emergency situations.

During the course, our Year 7 students learned crucial first aid techniques for common injuries such as cuts, grazes, mild burns, and scalds. These skills are not only valuable in everyday life but can also make a significant difference in emergency situations.

Learning how to clean and dress a wound, apply the appropriate bandages, and provide immediate care in case of minor burns or scalds are vital abilities that can be applied at home, at school, or anywhere else. Knowing how to react calmly and effectively in these situations can mitigate pain and prevent infections.

Well done students !
