I have nominated Daren P’s investigation on The Tower of Hanoi for Work of the Month. Students in KS3 can find mathematical investigations like this quite challenging, as it is unlike any math they have done before. This is Daren’s first attempt at a mathematical investigation, and he did extremely well. His explanations are very clear, his mathematical vocabulary is excellent, and he put a lot of effort into his presentation. Well done, Daren !
