On Monday, ten Year 11 Physics students completed the Junior Astrophysics Challenge. This came as two 25-minute online quizzes, which the students attempted over the month of November. This was a big step for those involved, as we had only just completed the part of the syllabus which introduced this vast topic. They had to do a lot of background reading and research to prepare for this. We all hope that when the certificate levels awarded arrive in a few weeks, their efforts will be justly rewarded. We will let you know how they got on in a later update.
