As part of the World Cup reading focus Year 7 were invited to listen to Karol Kisel speak about his professional career in football.  Mr. Kisel played for FC Lokomotiva, Ozeta Duka, the Bohemians, FC Sparta and FC Slovan, as well as playing for Sydney Australia.

Throughout his career he scored 88 goals, which is quite an achievement! Mr. Kisel spoke how hard it is to become a  professional footballer and the need to be resilient  to “train, train and train some more”. The students, especially the boys, were fascinated and peppered him with questions. After the applause Mia presented him with a small gift from the school.
