November 1st saw the Learning Centre invaded by monsters, ghouls and lots of witches as they celebrated Halloween. The festivities were led by four students from Y11; San SH, Bara H, Misha T and Nelas P. As well as the traditional scary story (with sound effects) there was a lot of dancing, competitions and hot chocolate with marshmallows.
The highlight of the evening was the Costume judging with the Year 6 students walking down the catwalk. The four year 11 students each chose their favourite costume. Sam SH chose Sam, Misha chose Juniper, Nel chose Sofia while Bara chose Isabella. Miss Esther and Miss Kamille chose the overall winner, who was Lena. Earlier in the day the bookmark competition was judged. Honourable mentions (and chocolate) went to Oliver and Ellin. The winners were Julie and Lena from 6E.
