On Friday 3rd March a special assembly took place for the children at Norbertov to learn about a unique charity known as ‘Life in a Suitcase’.
“Every year, up to 500 children are abandoned or taken from their mothers directly in the maternity hospital for various reasons. So that one day they don’t wonder how they came into the world, what they looked like and whether anyone liked them at all, we keep memories of the beginning of their lives in suitcases and thus help them in the period of searching for their own identity”.
Many many thanks to Mrs Fanta for organising the visit from the charity and a special thank you to Emma, Year 3C for her involvement in speaking during the assembly.
