Last week we began our final topic of the year, Lonely Planet! We started by learning about the geography of several countries in Asia by creating messy maps! We have also been working really hard to develop our teamwork, research and computing skills in order to produce our very own travel guides.

On Tuesday we were very lucky to enjoy a wonderful visit from Muhammad’s mum. Mrs Bilal was so kind in sharing her homeland’s culture with us.

We learned many facts about Pakistan, made some scrumptious samosas (we were all begging for seconds), learned new dances while listening to music and got to play a currency guessing game using real money from different countries in Asia. Our topic really came to life!

We would like to thank Mrs Bilal and Muhammad for taking the time to bring us a little taste of your rich and vibrant culture!
