Students participated in a Model United Nations (MUN) conference over the weekend in Prague at Meridian International School. Students debated current hot topics including the Israel and Palestine conflict, human rights violations in Myanmar, and gun violence in the United States.

“Merimun was a very pleasant 3-day event, There was a substantial number of people with all of them being very kind and friendly. As a beginner in MUN, I felt very welcomed and was taken in quickly by my fellow peers and chairs, all of whom were very friendly. The debates were very intense and inclusive to everybody. Overall this was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience in which I am very excited to revisit!”

“The Merimun conference was extremely fun, exciting, and an overall great experience. Aside from the fruitful debates and amazing people I met throughout the three days, the conference created memories I will never forget. Overall, we cannot wait to return to the conference next year to have a blast once again!”
