Former Park Lane students Hana and Františka describe the benefits of IB DP, the difference between the programme and the Czech “maturita” and talk about their learning experience in the article for Forbes magazine.

“The International Baccalaureate is the culmination of a two-year English language program and consists of six subjects,” say the students as they describe the principle of the exam, which is recognized by universities around the world and also replaces admissions at many prestigious universities.

“An essential part of the program is the emphasis on teamwork and discussion. Students learn how to listen to others, process available information, express opinions and then independently create outputs from them,” says Jan Čihák, Head of the Czech program and coordinator of the IB program at Park Lane International School, as he describes the teaching method.
