On the 20th of October, Park Lane’s first University Fair was held in the Uvoz Common Room and was open to Year 11, 12 and 13 students and parents. It was a busy afternoon with over 150 visitors. There was constant energy and chatter in the room and with the sun shining in there was a beautiful view over the city. We hosted JK Education a local company and their Partner Universities. With 15 colleges, businesses and universities present, the visiting representatives were busy all afternoon.
Students and parents were deep in conversations learning about different course options, studying and working abroad, fees and financial aid, opportunities in the Cech Republic as well as Canada, USA and Europe. It was great to invite the year 11 students and parents to start these discussions and begin thinking about what to study after IGCSE’s and the possibilities beyond the IB Diploma.
We look forward to either visiting or hosting the next fair to learn more about what is on offer around the world, where we can learn and what we can study, there are many, many opportunities available.
