On Tuesday, 13th of June, Park Lane FC’s final two games of the school year were against our neighbours Riverside. The first game was our first team against their first team. This was an incredibly tight game with Park Lane just about looking better than our rivals. However, in the second half, with the game looking like it was going to be a tight 0-0 draw, Park Lane found a way to break through and score a goal by David S. After this goal Park Lane went on to dominate with two fantastic goals by Jakub M and another two by Maxim B well as a goal by Matěj Š. An unfortunate own goal by Riverside made it 6 goals to Park Lane while Riverside scored a great goal from the halfway line.

In our second game, our Park Lane team was a lot stronger than Riverside with a dominant display winning on a score line of 5-1 with Aarav A and Ron G looking very good in attack, both scoring two goals. This was our best and strongest performance in football terms this year, however, it was also a very disappointing one in the way Park Lane FC reacted to the wins. When playing these games we are representing our school and we should be representing it in the best way possible. Something to think about over the summer break.
