For the past two years I have been working in the Middle East as specialised learning support for SEND students. Most recently I completed my BA of Education from Murdoch University and started my Masters of Education, specialising in SEND & School Leadership. I am excited to continue my professional development at Park Lane International School, particularly while working with the SEND department to develop holistic frameworks to support student needs across the school. My experiences in SEND have greatly impacted my pedagogical views of teaching and learning. I believe that the principles of Universal design for learning can positively impact outcomes for students of all needs and abilities in an inclusive learning environment.
Outside of school I enjoy lots of sports; I have a variety of playing experience and also hold coaching qualifications in sports such as football, AFL, cricket & more. My wife and I enjoy spending time outdoors, in winter and spring we will go backcountry snowboarding and in the summer we enjoy hiking or bouldering.
