I am thrilled to join the Park Lane family this year as your new Primary Physical Education Specialist and Year 6 Science Teacher. For the past two years, I have had the privilege of teaching Sports and Biology in the picturesque Swiss Alps. Before that, I gained valuable experience at a bilingual school in Prague. My passion for education spans all age groups, from Early Years to the IB Diploma Programme.
In my role as a teacher, I have always aimed to foster a love for learning both inside and outside the classroom. In Physical Education, I believe in nurturing children’s commitment to an active lifestyle through fun games and activities, emphasizing enjoyment and self-confidence. In Science, I encourage students to explore and question the world around them, promoting creativity and a critical mindset while nurturing an appreciation for our environment.
In my free time, I enjoy all things sporty and ‘outdoorsy’, from hiking and camping to skiing and wakeboarding. I am always up for new adventures and welcome any exciting suggestions or recommendations. My enthusiasm for outdoor education is reflected in my experience running forest school sessions. I can not wait to embark on exciting trips, organise sports days, and hit the slopes with our students.
