Park Lane annually hosts a model united nations conference, where students from all over the world convene to discuss current and historical issues and solve worldwide crises, in a fun format that allows them to explore foreign countries and cultures.
Students can practice their political intrigue and lobbying skills, and who knows, their country might as well have secretly/ not so secretly gained that third party access towards a failing country’s oil fields.
Taking part in this conference also greatly improves your people skills, which will be an invaluable asset for your future.
Furthermore, PLISMUN will also help students to improve their debating confidence and abilities, which will be of great use in their work, academic (colleges especially like it), and social life.
