It was a brilliant football afternoon at Riverside with our Y4 and Y3 pupils last week. Both schools had two teams and Riverside set up a very friendly tournament. Each team played two games and we could see some high-level football and brilliant goalkeeping especially from Janik. Kaila opened the first match and scored against Riverside A. Unfortunately our opponent scored in the last minute and the match ended up 1:1. We lost the second game but put ourselves together and won the third match. Our last game was a draw as the final result which was pretty fair. Most of our children train in the morning club and have greatly improved their pass and move skills. The rest of our team were able to fit in fantastically. I have been impressed with both of our teams and very proud of all our players.
