On Wednesday the 21st of September we, as Y12 IB Czech students, set off for the Old Masters exhibition currently taking place in the Schwarzenberg Palace close to our new site, at Úvoz. The tour focused on classical mythology in Renaissance art and was very pleasant owing to our tour guide. During the exposition, we had the chance to brush up on our Greek and Roman mythology along with gaining some new insights on this topic, which will surely be instrumental in our study of Antigone by the renowned playwright Sophocles. At the end of the tour we had some time left for a bit of creative work in the Palace’s atelier, which was an enjoyable change for all of us.
