From 5-11th January, 34 Y9s and 5 Y8s visited Zell am See, Austria for 6 days of skiing and exploring. We were lucky with the weather, two days of continuous snow made for great conditions. The last two days on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier were particularly special as we had blue skies, fresh snow and views for miles!

Not only were the students busy skiing and snowboarding all day but they enjoyed some evening activities such as curling, Austrian bowling, and an Awards Ceremony. We took a break from skiing to visit Salzburg and explore the fortress and city before heading to the Berchtesgaden salt mines. The salt mines offered an active opportunity to step back in time and walk (and slide) through the previously used mines.

It was a successful trip and great fun was had by all!
