Join 4L as we attempt to explain all about volcanoes and the history of Pompeii. However, if we have too many interruptions we may just give up and start our summer holidays… Either way, we promise it will be ‘explosive’ and we hope to have you ‘erupting’ in applause!

Join us on our journey, as a mouse takes a stroll through the deep, dark woods. The Gruffalo is the story of a clever mouse, three large animals that want to eat him and an imaginary monster, a Gruffalo, who turns out to be only too real.

Aliens Love Earth
A group of aliens are very excited to be traveling around the Earth. Along the way, the aliens will end up dancing, singing and learning lots about the different continents!

Around the world in 80 days
Phileas Fogg (Sasha) and his trusted friend Passepartout (Kristyna) embark on a globe-spanning adventure in their hot air balloon, as they try to win a challenge of traveling around the world in 80 days. Along the way, they enjoy a number of festivals from different continents.

Welcome to our Year 4 assembly, where you will learn all about the tragic events which occurred in 79 AD in Pompeii and Herculaneum. Hopefully our assembly will not be interrupted by a cast of Romans and their Gods…

The Jungle Book
“For the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack…” Journey deep into the jungle for an enthusiastic retelling of the classic tale of Mowgli the man-cub, raised in the jungle by wise Bagheera the panther, pesky python Kaa, loveable Baloo the bear, jungle V.I.P. King Louie and of course the terrifying tiger Shere Khan.

The Great Kapok Tree
In the Amazon rainforest it is always hot and in that heat everything grows, and grows, and grows. And in this steamy environment, the great Kapok tree shoots up through the forest to emerge above the canopy.
This is the story of a community of animals that live in one such tree in the rainforest.

Wednesday 15th June

P 5 Nessie 2pm
Welcome to our Nessie Graduation.
We hope you enjoy celebrating with the Year 1 children, as they mark the end of their journey here at Nessie and embark on the exciting transition into the Primary School. We will also recognise the Pre Nursery children for a successful first year at school and their impending move into the Nursery class.
Pre Nursery will perform the Chorus of You are my Sunshine.
Nursery and Reception will take us on a journey through their travels during the year sharing their learning of continents, habitats and Journeys
Year 1C will perform The Gruffalo song by Julia Donaldson along with a czech performance. At the end of this the children will celebrate their time here at Nessie with their very own Graduation and Prize Giving.

We hope you enjoy celebrating with the Reception children, as they mark the end of their Early Years’ journey and embark on the exciting transition into the Primary School. We will also recognise the Nursery children for a successful first year at school and their impending move into the Reception class.
We are so very proud of all our children here at Sibeliova.

Year 6E and Year 6K
Treachery at Traitors Quay
It’s World War II and London isn’t safe. The six Dawson children are evacuated to the coast to stay at the large home of Eggin-Drake, Minister of Information. They’re thrown in amongst all sorts of characters – from the disheveled Home Guard and air-raid wardens to the surly gamekeeper and the retired sea captain. It soon becomes apparent to the children that there is a spy in their midst. Determined to investigate, they head down to the Quay and snoop around the smugglers’ caves. But who is the spy? Can their plan be foiled before it’s too late? And just what IS the strange secret about the JAM?

A group of pesky little kids are set three challenges in order to earn their right to have an Olympics style sports day. Can they meet the challenges of Miss Maria-Medusa; JoeNicklar, the two heads of Norberteves; and Miss Kerry-otaur in her labyrinth of Valdštejnská?
