On Wednesday 60 of our keen mathematicians from Y9 to Y11 will take part in the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge. This fiendishly tricky set of questions will push their mathematical skills to the limits. According to the organisers: “It encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and fluency to make students think. The problems on the Intermediate Maths Challenge are designed to make students think, most are accessible yet still challenge those with more experience.”
