On Thursday 25th May, Year 1 travelled to Dvůr Králové Zoo. We arrived at the zoo and had a very good lunch of mashed potatoes and chicken strips, then we went to the huge play park nearby to burn off some of our energy! After that we had a chance to explore our bedrooms, chill and unpack before we split into two groups and did a private tour of the Zoo with our guides. That evening we had a great dinner and then we went back out to the park and played lots of fun games before we headed to bed, exhausted!
The next day, we woke up early and enjoyed a breakfast buffet and then headed out to our safari truck tour, where we got to see lots of animals such as waterbucks, zebras, antelopes and ostriches but I think the lions and the buffalos were our favourites! After a quick trip to the gift shop and some lunch, we headed back to school on the bus and we were incredibly tired but a great time was had by all!
